Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
